Saturday Is Our Fun Day

Brant's Day:

• Cut plywood to fit in the attic
• Nailed plywood to studs in attic
• Put boxes in attic
• Cleaned garage
• Unpacked the garage
  
• Organized Garage

The garage was reallllly dirty + we had boxes that needed unpacked filling up the whole 1/2 of the garage

• Threw away a contaminated box with everything in it. The movers packed a dead mouse in this particular box of garage stuff. Who needs that stuff anyway right!?!
• Made two trips to Home Depot
• Installed a garage door opener
• Programed the doohickey on the car rear view mirror to open the garage door (don't know the technical term)
• Mowed the lawn
• Went swimming

Chris' Day:

No thanks to a local Mexican restaurant I tried out yesterday.

Blink & You Miss it!

We had quite a week. It started off with the Chatwin side of the fam coming to celebrate Memorial day.
Brandi with her 2 boys arrived from out of town Monday as well. All week they helped unbox the house, make freezer meals, go swimming w/ Brant, ride the DART rail to downtown to see where John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated, watched movies, cleaned up the house & unboxed more stuff. Now that they are gone the house is way too quite & empty!!! Enjoy a few pictures.

Frankie & Johnny

I did marry my prince charming!!!
Brant willingly watched Frankie & Johnny with me, no complaints or rolling of the eyes either. We had fun with it, dancing, singing & clapping along. Good clean fun is the bestest!!!
Now, I may have pushed my luck with this post. We shall see if I get another chance like that that again anytime soon.

Miss Me Much???

Whew ... I'm back to blogging & adding to my playlist. Love that thing!

While I had good intentions on posting some current pictures I got distracted. Surprise surprise :)
My phone said the memory was full when I tried to take the 1st picture . I was downloading to clear up some space & got caught up in all the fun pictures stored. Lucky you. We'll just say I was rotating my food storage/year supply of junk ;) Enjoy these random pics.

Head Spinning

I feel like my head is spinning. Oh wait, it is!!!
So we closed & moved out of our home in Kansas. I was able to read Stephanie Meyer's new book The Host while the movers packed our stuff one day & loaded the truck the next. It was nice. The Host didn't completely suck me away from earth while I read it. The movers were greatful I'm sure. They had several questions about all our stuff.
Yes, I gave into the many enticings from friends to read the Twilight series while in this hotel. Those books definitely carried me to another planet while reading. Poor Brant!
Tony & Lisa came over to the house one last time. Brant & I will sure miss hanging out with them on the weekends! Tony called me sir. I guess my hair does keep getting shorter, especially in the back. Did you notice, the new red highlights???
Brant & I were invited to go to the Mesquite Rodeo when I got back from Kansas. I'm glad I was able to meet some of Brant's co-workers. He works with such pleasant people.
We are closing on our new home Thursday!!!!! Yeah, Mom Sheen is coming to help us super clean it. Isn't she a saint ;) This same day most of our extending family will be arriving for the wedding.
Russ & Erin are getting Married Friday. My parents are updating the house for the festivities. We spent most weekend helping out & I went over all day Monday.
The morning after the big wedding all our belongings will be delivered.
Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!
