We went at it again!

This time it started out with trying to find a mirror for the powder bath since the previous owners took it with them.Yesterday we went to the Great Indoors & bought drapes. They had 120" drapes & a rod that was 170" wide. That combined with a "Great" sale (get it -he hee) & an additional bonus 15% off that for black Friday. We couldn't pass it up. Probably should have but no we didn't.

I think the final result turned out well. I decided to put the Christmas tree up. It was the easiest thing to get to. Consequently it has no ornaments yet. I love this time of year!

Smores & Family ... What more can you ask for

I love the smell of a wood-burning. Outdoors or at home in the fireplace.
That is one thing we like about this house it has a wood burning fireplace. We decided to build a fire yesterday & thought ... why not make smores?
Rob & Rashahn came over to join in the festivities. We had a blast.

Hard Day's Work/Anniversary Gift

Chris and I celebrated 9 years of marriage this past week and to help with the celebrations we did work on the house. I had been wanting two exterior lights on the garage, but the house only came with one. So we purchased the electrical wire, two lights and went to town. It took me a long time to get the work done because it was difficult working in the hot attic (which for November I personally didn't expect it to be that hot!). We also bought a wall-switch timer that will automatically turn the lights on/off each day. We had one of these in Wichita and really liked it. Take a look at some the pictures.

Sorry kids Bunny Foo Foo is dead.

How can a dog this sweet and lovable still have hunting instincts? Our dear sweet dog killed Bunny Foo Foo this morning. When I would not let her bring it in the house to present me her gift she decided to go ahead & eat it herself (bones & all)!
I was totally grossed out & thought she was weird. Then I went to work & listened to everyone tell me of their labs eating animals much grosser. I guess Cocoa is normal.
Eeeeewwwwwww!
