Wedding Anticipation!

Brant & I get to host most of the family for Tommy & Lydia's wedding tomorrow. Here are some of the highlights from the past couple daysD-Rock's in the house!!!

Texas shaped waffles for breakfast! (Thanks Rachel & John. Your waffle irons were a hit)
Wade wanted to take a picture of the dog.
Apperently all 3 of them needed a laptop. Brant's is hidden by the laundry basket.
Ver holding Olivia.

Mom took a picture of Amy & I waxing our eyebrows!

Ahhhhh . . .

Brant & I have been feeling that I need to stop working & take a breather. We were hoping it would help me relax so maaaybe we can get pregnant. I really don't want to get into THAT part of our lives now. However, to put your questions to rest & give an update those that don't know, Brant & I have been through a whirlwind of infertility in the 10 years we've been married. We've tried everything from adoption to an amazing fertility doctor.
Now to get back to the point of this post: Not working has been amazing!!
It's crazy how busy I've been & how quickly my day goes by. It's nice because I feel like I can start to breath now. Apparently I stress myself out more than I thought I did. Brant is so wise.
We had a successful garage sale this weekend. There were actually people waiting, at 7:15am, while we pulled stuff out onto the driveway. We really didn't expect to make much because we didn't have any large items. Boy were we wrong. Most of what we sold were small things. Crazy people actually bought our old post-its & partially used refill bottles of soap! Who would have thought? It was fun & am glad we purged our "box" room. What are we going to do with 3 spare bedrooms upstairs now? Anyone want to visit!?!

Date Night Week Night Style

Last night Brant took my parents & me to a Texas Rangers game.

They played ... BAD

This pitcher threw 120 pitches in 5 1/2 ennings. The 2nd pitcher did much better.

The Company was ... GREAT!

Have you heard? The Maytag Repair Guy needs to repair/replace 1.7 MILLION DISHWASHERS!

This morning I heard that Maytag has issued a recall on over 1.7 MILLION DISHWASHER UNITS!!!!!! We love ours and have not had any problems, however the recall is related to several fires being started by the heating units. I definitely don't want my house to be lost because of a $500 utility that is known to cause fires.

If you own any dishwasher manufactured by Maytag (including Maytag, Jenn-Air, Admiral, Magic Chef, Performa, etc.) YOU NEED TO GO TO THE LINK LISTED ABOVE AND HAVE THE UNIT EITHER REPAIRED/REPLACED. We elected to have the unit repaired.
