Cocoa did NOT eat this bunny! What a relief!!!
Brant mowed the lawn today & found it on side yard. I guess it got away. We'll say it passed on peacefully after it made it through the fence. RIP bunny.

I looked in the window & guess what I saw ...
A teddy bear popping in the window.

If you didn't guess that was to the tune of "Popcorn Popping". As we drove home look what was sitting in the window. Cocoa must have been staring out the front window with her teddy bear in tow. How cute :)
Prom update: I ended up chaperoning by myself. Brant stayed home so another kid could go. We were over fire code. Sorry no pictures. I dressed like a chaperone not a kid!

We're going to Prom ...
as chaperones!
Have we really made that cycle already? I swear we just graduated High School only 5 years ago. At lease that's what I tell myself. Hey it helps me sleep ;)

Yuck ...
I woke Brant up 2 1/2 hrs before his alarm went off (it was 2 am!). I was sooo sick to my stomach, poor guy. Since my stomach problems were cured 10 years ago I rarely can throw up, so I'm not use to it.
This better last for only 24hrs. My house is a wreck & needs some serious attention this weekend!

I had an epiphany ...
After another adoption opportunity not happening for us I decided to let the emotions come. I don't like to cry or feel pain/vulnerability. I tend to mask them & have created many brick wall fortresses over the past 9 years. That has not been the most healthy option for me or those around me. Sorry everyone :)I spent 3 days grieving, crying & feeling the depth of pain that comes with all that has happened. It was amazing I feel great now. I'm actually happy again. Why didn't I do this before!!! It was quite liberating. We will be blessed with children at some point in our lives. That however does not mean I don't have the right to grieve that it has not happened yet. For now we will continue to live our lives & enjoy what we do have.
