long over due update

This was the 1st time I've been to girls camp since I was a youth. Who knows how I managed to get out of it serving as a Young Woman's President 2 times & even as a councilor in the Stake YW presidency. Despite the ridiculously hot temperatures & not being able to flush toilet paper down any of the toilets I truly had fun.

Our fearless bishop almost won the chubby bunny contest (Joann found red & blue star shaped marshmallows)
"Campfire of Truth" was interesting (like truth or dare without the dare)We moved it into the cabin with a flashlight for effects. I think our giggles were scaring the albino dear!

Project Mantle ...

Before

AfterThe print has been resting on the mantle until just recently. After B hung it up we thought it might be nice to complete the decor. Off to hunt we went Saturday. Everything but the hourglass came from Pier One. We would have saved a lot of time & gas if we just went there in the 1st place. Enjoy the before & after pics.

Moving Day, Birthdays & 3D Movies ... what a day!

So moving day arrived for Mom & Dad "S" on Mom's b-day. We began the day early in the morning loading 2 moving trucks. Dad & Brant hit a million range-balls then went our separate ways to do miscellaneous errands. We all met back up that evening to watch a 3D movie on the big screen! The movie jumped right out at us it was awesome. Our birthday ice-cream treats added to the 3D drama. What a day!
